If you’re selling one house, buying another, and trying to land in the right school before a deadline you can’t move, that’s the move I specialize in.
Before real estate, I was an ER nurse in a Level 1 trauma center, where I learned to stay calm when things go sideways, ask the hard questions early, and keep a lot of moving parts on track. Later, I built my own healthcare writing business, turning complex medical information into something people could actually understand. I do the same thing now with contracts, inspections, and disclosures.
I’ve made this move myself. In 2022, my family did our own buy-sell to move to Wilmette, choosing a town, a school district, and a house all at once. Now I’m walking every street in Wilmette to learn each neighborhood, its schools, and its history, so my clients don’t have to guess.
Some of my best work is protecting clients from the wrong house. I once helped a family walk away from a deal after the inspection turned up foundation concerns and a shared sewer line. Two months later, they were in the right home.
I’m also deeply involved in Wilmette. I serve on the D39 Village-Wide PTO and the PTA, help direct the McKenzie Variety Show, and host school fundraisers throughout the year. When I talk about schools and neighborhoods, it’s because I’m in them every week, not just on showing days.
